Our Take: The Tecno Pop 3 at Rs 9,099 is the most affordable phone in this batch, yet it delivers functional basic smartphone capability. The MT6580M processor is built on a 28 nm process — older and less efficient than modern chips — but handles calls, messaging, and light browsing without significant issues. With only 1 GB of RAM, the phone will close background apps almost immediately when you switch away, and multitasking is essentially impossible. The 16 GB of storage is extremely tight, with roughly 8 to 10 GB available after system files — you will need to manage files regularly or rely on cloud storage. The 5.7-inch display is one of the smallest in this batch, making it pocketable but cramped for video watching. The 5 MP rear camera captures basic photos, and the 8 MP selfie camera handles social media adequately. The 3500 mAh battery is smaller than the 5000 mAh standard, though the low-power processor helps it last a full day with light use.
