OhoPrice editorial review
Our Take: The VGO TEL Flex 3 is a 17,750 PKR smartphone that stretches the definition of budget. The 6.6-inch 720p IPS screen (~267 PPI) is basic but serviceable, the SC9863A1 octa-core at 1.6GHz with 3GB RAM is strictly entry-level — fine for calls, WhatsApp, YouTube and light browsing, not for gaming or heavy multitasking — and the 32GB storage is tight once apps and photos accumulate. The 13MP camera with a 5MP front is honest for the price, and the 5000mAh battery is the genuine highlight, delivering a full day and more. This is a functional, no-frills phone for the most basic needs. The HMD Barbie is 1,751 PKR cheaper, but it is a different species entirely: a feature phone with a 2.8-inch TFT screen (~143 PPI), 64MB RAM, 128MB storage and a 0.3MP camera. The Flex 3 is a full smartphone with a 6.6-inch display, 13MP camera, 3GB RAM and 5000mAh battery — it outperforms the Barbie in every measurable way. The Barbie's appeal is purely its collectible, fashion-branded design, not its capabilities. If you need an actual usable phone, the Flex 3 is the obvious choice; the Barbie only makes sense as a novelty or collector's item, and the Flex 3 costs only a little more for vastly more phone. Check the Flex 3 IMEI against PTA's DIRBS — budget VGO phones are common unofficial imports in Pakistan.
