OhoPrice editorial review

Our Take: At Rs 29,999, the Vivo Y03t 128GB is a phone built around the idea that storage and endurance matter more than raw speed. The Unisoc T612 is a budget workhorse — it handles WhatsApp, YouTube, and light browsing without complaining, but expect noticeable lag if you try to run demanding games like PUBG at anything above low settings. The 6.56-inch screen runs at 90 Hz, which makes scrolling through feeds feel smoother than the 60 Hz panels still common at this price, though the 720p resolution at roughly 269 PPI means individual pixels are visible if you hold the phone close. Where Vivo earns its keep is the 5000 mAh battery: it comfortably carries most users from morning to bedtime with charge to spare, and the 128 GB of storage means you will not need to juggle files or invest in a microSD card anytime soon. The 13 MP main camera is strictly daylight-grade — colours are passable, but detail drops off quickly once lighting dims. The 5 MP selfie shooter is the weakest link, producing soft images that will not satisfy anyone who relies on video calls for work. If your priority is a dependable daily phone with plenty of room for photos and apps, this Vivo delivers on the basics. The Villaon Hyper 100 undercuts it by Rs 4,000 at Rs 25,999 and matches the Vivo's battery and storage numbers. However, the Villaon's processor is listed only as 'Octa Core Processor' with no model number, making it impossible to predict how it handles real-world workloads — a risk if you care about consistent performance. The Villaon's display resolution is also listed as 'N/A' rather than confirmed pixels, so you have no way of knowing whether its 6.75-inch screen is sharper or duller than the Y03t's 269 PPI panel. The Vivo at least documents exactly what you are buying: a known Unisoc chip, confirmed 90 Hz refresh, and a 13 MP camera with autofocus. For buyers who want certainty about specifications before spending nearly 30,000 PKR, the Vivo Y03t is the safer pick, even if the Villaon's price tag is tempting.
