Our Take: The Vivo Y100 is a case of polish over headline specs. The 120Hz full-HD display at roughly 395 PPI is sharp, and its 1800-nit peak brightness is genuinely excellent for outdoor use — you will actually be able to read it on a sunny Karachi street. The Snapdragon 685 is an efficient, everyday chip, 8GB of RAM with 256GB of storage is comfortable, and the 50MP main camera with PDAF captures dependable daylight photos. The compromises are visible too: the 8MP selfie camera is below Vivo's usual standard, there is no ultrawide lens, and at 56,999 PKR it is priced against tougher 5G competition. The ZTE Nubia Focus Pro 5G costs 7,000 PKR less and attacks from the opposite direction: a 108MP main camera with OIS, a 32MP selfie, 5G connectivity and 256GB of storage, though its up-to-20GB RAM figure includes 12GB of virtual expansion on top of 8GB physical. The Nubia is also a 2024 model on an LCD panel, while the Y100's 120Hz screen at 1800 nits is brighter and smoother. If 5G, a giant camera sensor and a lower price win, the Nubia is the value; if you prefer a brighter display, Vivo's camera tuning and a more current, dependable device, the Y100 earns its premium.
