The 3687mAh battery is the main worry — it was never a battery champion, and on a 2020 unit it will likely need service. Storage is generous at 512GB and RAM is 6GB, which is adequate but unremarkable. The real issue is that 2020 hardware at 237,000 PKR competes directly with 2025 flagships that are faster and fresher. This is only a sensible buy for someone who wants a big-screen iPhone with huge storage and prefers a proven camera to newer silicon. The Samsung Galaxy S24 FE at 219,999 PKR is 17,000 PKR cheaper and nearly four years newer. The S24 FE brings an Exynos 2400e that is significantly faster than the A14, 8GB of RAM, a 4700mAh battery that outlasts the iPhone's 3687mAh, and a 2024 release date with years of update support ahead. Its 50MP+12MP+8MP camera system is competitive, though the iPhone's 2.5x telephoto and LiDAR give it an edge in zoom and low-light focus. The 12 Pro Max answers with 512GB against 256GB of storage and the sharper 457 PPI panel, plus iOS video quality that still leads. So the decision is storage and iOS against speed, battery and a 17,000 PKR saving. For most buyers the S24 FE is the better 2026 value; the 12 Pro Max only wins for big-storage iOS loyalists. At 237,000 PKR for a 2020 model, verify PTA status on DIRBS and demand a battery-health report before paying.
