OhoPrice editorial review

Our Take: Buyers need to look carefully here, because 144,999 PKR for an iPhone 7 Plus in 2026 is a hard sell. This is 2016 hardware: the A10 Fusion chip, 3GB of RAM, a 2900mAh battery and iOS 15 as the final supported version — meaning no new features, and a growing number of modern apps will refuse to run or update. The 5.5-inch screen is sharp — 1080x1920 on 5.5 inches works out to about 401 PPI, not the ~326 PPI the spec text claims, which is another sign the data needs verification. The 12MP rear and 7MP front cameras were fine for 2016, and the dual-LED flash helped low-light shots, but phones at this price today have far better sensors, batteries and displays. The only arguments for it are iOS and a metal build, and neither is worth 145,000 PKR. The Honor X9d is 15,500 PKR cheaper and ten years newer, and the gap is enormous. The Honor offers an 8300mAh battery against the iPhone's 2900mAh — almost three times the endurance — a 108MP main camera against a single 12MP, 12GB/256GB against 3GB/128GB, a Snapdragon 6 Gen 4 with 5G, and a large AMOLED display whose 2640x1200 resolution on 6.79 inches resolves to about 427 PPI, slightly sharper than the iPhone's ~401 PPI. The iPhone 7 Plus keeps only its premium build and iOS. For every practical need — battery, camera, speed, app compatibility, updates — the X9d is the obvious purchase; the iPhone 7 Plus only makes sense as a cheap secondary device and should be priced accordingly, not at 145,000 PKR. Before considering the iPhone 7 Plus, verify the IMEI with PTA's DIRBS — and check whether iOS 15-era app restrictions matter for the software you need.
