OhoPrice editorial review
Our Take: The Smart 9's headline is a 120Hz panel on a phone that costs 22,999 PKR — refresh rate is what makes scrolling, swiping and camera previews feel quicker than the budget class normally does, and here it is paired with a 5000mAh battery that comfortably outlasts a day of mixed use. The 720p resolution on that 6.7-inch screen works out to about 262 PPI, so text and icons are readable but visibly soft up close. The 13MP f/1.9 main camera is modest but honest, the Helio G81 is the same chip that powers phones costing thousands more, and 4GB of RAM with 128GB of storage is a reasonable starting point. Just note the 0.08MP auxiliary lens does nothing — this is effectively a single-camera phone. Against the Villaon V50s, the Smart 9 wins on almost everything you can verify. The Villaon lists no display type, GPU or dimensions — just N/A — so its screen is essentially unverifiable, while the Infinix documents a 120Hz panel with a real refresh specification. The Smart 9 also brings a 13MP main camera versus the Villaon's 8MP, 5000mAh versus 4000mAh, and 128GB versus 64GB of storage, for a difference of only about 1,600 PKR. The Villaon's one edge is a December 2025 release date and its 4GB + 4GB expandable RAM line, though that expansion is typically virtual. If verified specs matter — and on a phone whose display cannot even be identified, they should — the Smart 9 is the safer 22,999 PKR spend. Run the Smart 9's IMEI through PTA's DIRBS before paying — budget Infinix units are a staple of the grey import market.
