Our Take: The Vivo S1 at 35,999 PKR brings a Super AMOLED display to an affordable price bracket, which is genuinely rare at this cost. AMOLED panels produce deeper blacks, richer colours, and consume less power when displaying dark themes compared to standard LCD screens. The 6.38-inch Full HD+ display at 404 PPI is sharp and vibrant, making it excellent for streaming video and browsing photos. The Helio P65 processor with 4 GB of RAM handles daily tasks smoothly, though it shows its age in demanding games. The triple-camera system includes a 16 MP main sensor, an 8 MP ultrawide for landscape shots, and a 2 MP depth sensor for portrait effects. The 32 MP selfie camera is one of the best in this price range, capturing detailed selfies with good skin tone accuracy. The 4,500 mAh battery is adequate but below average for the segment. This phone appeals to buyers who prioritise display quality and selfie camera performance over battery capacity. The ZTE Nubia A56 at 30,999 PKR saves you 5,000 but loses the AMOLED display entirely, replacing it with a standard 720p IPS LCD panel. The Nubia's Unisoc T7200 processor is less capable than the Helio P65, and its 13 MP main camera captures significantly less detail than the Vivo's 16 MP unit. Both phones have 4 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage, but the S1's 32 MP selfie camera vastly outperforms the Nubia's 8 MP front shooter.
