Our Take: The Vivo Y15C at 33,999 PKR is a basic, no-frills smartphone that covers the essentials without excelling in any particular area. The Helio P35 processor with 4 GB of RAM delivers acceptable performance for messaging, social media, and light browsing, but the phone will struggle with demanding games or heavy multitasking. The 6.5-inch HD+ display at 270 PPI is adequate for everyday use but lacks the sharpness of Full HD+ competitors. The dual 13 MP + 2 MP rear camera produces passable daylight photos, and the 8 MP selfie camera handles basic video calls. Storage at 64 GB is below average for this price point and will fill up quickly, so a microSD card is practically essential. The 5,000 mAh battery provides reliable all-day life. At 33,999 PKR, the Y15C is overshadowed by phones with faster processors, more storage, and better cameras at similar or lower prices. This phone only makes sense for buyers who specifically want Vivo's software experience and brand reliability. The Xiaomi Redmi A5 at 28,999 PKR is 5,000 cheaper and offers a larger 6.88-inch display, a bigger 5,200 mAh battery, and a 32 MP selfie camera that significantly outperforms the Y15C's 8 MP unit. The Redmi A5 also provides 64 GB or 128 GB storage options, matching or exceeding the Vivo's 64 GB. The Y15C does include a depth sensor for portrait effects and slightly better build quality, but these advantages do not justify the 5,000 PKR price premium. The Redmi A5's Unisoc T7250 processor performs comparably to the Helio P35 in daily use, so neither phone has a meaningful speed advantage. For budget-conscious buyers, the Xiaomi Redmi A5 offers more phone for less money; the Vivo Y15C is harder to recommend unless you have a strong preference for Vivo's software ecosystem.
