Our Take: The Oppo A17K at 36,999 PKR is a compact phone with a surprisingly small 5.6-inch display, which is unusual in a market dominated by 6.5-inch+ screens. This makes it genuinely pocket-friendly and easier to use one-handed, which some buyers will prefer. However, the Helio G35 processor with only 3 GB of RAM is sluggish by current standards, and the 64 GB of storage will fill up quickly once you install essential apps and take a few hundred photos. The 8 MP main camera produces acceptable photos in bright daylight but lacks autofocus precision, and the 5 MP selfie camera is below average for video calls. The 5,000 mAh battery is generous relative to the small screen size, which means excellent battery life. The display's 269 PPI is decent for the screen size but the low resolution means text can look pixelated when reading long articles. At 36,999 PKR, this phone is expensive for the hardware on offer, and buyers should carefully consider whether the compact form factor is worth the significant specification compromises. The Honor X5c Plus at 31,999 PKR offers substantially better value. It has a larger 6.74-inch display with a 90 Hz refresh rate, a faster Helio G81 processor, double the RAM at 4 GB, and double the storage at 128 GB. The Honor also packs a 50 MP main camera that vastly outperforms the Oppo's 8 MP unit, and a slightly larger 5,260 mAh battery. At 5,000 PKR less than the A17K, the Honor X5c Plus wins in virtually every specification category. The only reason to choose the Oppo A17K is if you specifically want a small-screen phone that fits easily in a pocket or small bag. For everyone else, the Honor is a far better purchase at a lower price.
