OhoPrice editorial review
Our Take: The Oppo A53 is an older, honest budget phone whose 90Hz refresh rate is still its best feature — a smoothness most phones under 30,000 PKR simply do not offer. The 16MP selfie camera is unusually strong for the segment, and the Snapdragon 460, while dated, is a proven chip that stays calm during everyday apps. The catch is the storage: just 64GB on a 27,999 PKR phone in 2026 is tight once apps and photos pile up, and the 13MP main camera is nothing special. It is a fine light-duty phone with a likeable screen, but you are paying partly for the OPPO name. The Sego Note 70 Limited Edition is 3,850 PKR cheaper and brings 128GB of storage, a 13MP main camera and a claimed 12GB of RAM — though again, the bracket notes 8GB of that is extended, so the physical figure is 4GB, matching the A53. OPPO's wins are the 90Hz panel, the superior 16MP front camera and a brand with real service centres in Pakistan; Sego's display type, resolution and dimensions are simply not listed, so nobody can vouch for the screen. If you value a smoother display, better selfies and a trustworthy brand, the A53 is the safer choice; if raw storage and a lower price lead, the Sego looks better on paper and riskier in practice. Use PTA's DIRBS to check the A53 before purchase, and confirm whether the 64GB model is the one being quoted.
