Our Take: The Vivo Y01 at Rs 23,999 is one of the simplest phones on this list — it does not try to be anything more than a basic daily driver. The Helio P35 processor handles calls, messaging, and light browsing without significant issues, though it is not a gaming chip. With 3 GB of RAM, the phone struggles with multitasking — opening a third app often causes the first one to close from memory. The 32 GB of storage is also tight, with roughly 18 to 20 GB available after system files. The 6.5-inch display at 270 PPI is adequate for daily use, and the 8 MP rear camera captures passable daylight photos. The 5 MP f/2.2 selfie camera handles basic video calls. The 5000 mAh battery is the phone's saving grace — it provides reliable all-day endurance thanks to the low-power processor. At 8.28 mm thin, the phone is comfortable to hold.
