OhoPrice editorial review

The Oppo Reno 14F at 99,999 PKR is a well-rounded upper-midranger whose biggest selling point is stabilisation: the 50MP main camera carries optical image stabilisation, which meaningfully improves low-light stills and smooths handheld video — a feature usually reserved for phones thousands more. It is joined by a genuinely useful 8MP ultrawide and a 2MP macro that is best ignored. The 6.57-inch 1080x2372 display resolves to about 397 PPI and hits 1400 nits peak, plenty bright outdoors, with a 120Hz refresh. The Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 is a solid everyday chip, 8GB/256GB is a comfortable config, and the 6000mAh battery is the endurance highlight, easily crossing a full day and a half. The 32MP front camera is strong for selfies. There is little to dislike here; the only caution is that at 100,000 PKR you are one step below the performance tier, so set expectations accordingly for heavy gaming. The Infinix Note 60 Edge 5G at 84,999 PKR is 15,000 PKR cheaper but asks you to trust an incomplete spec sheet. Its processor is listed only as an unnamed Octa-Core with a Mali-G610 GPU, and its dimensions are N/A — so the two things most worth verifying, the chip and the physical size, are simply not disclosed. What is known: a 6.78-inch AMOLED, 8GB/256GB, a larger 6500mAh battery against the Reno's 6000mAh, and a 50MP rear with a 13MP front. The Reno 14F counters with the documented Snapdragon 6 Gen 1, OIS on the main camera, a real ultrawide, and a 32MP selfie camera that crushes the Infinix's 13MP. If verified hardware and stabilisation are worth 15,000 PKR to you, the Reno is the safe buy; the Note 60 Edge is a bet on unknowns for a lower price. Confirm the Reno 14F IMEI on PTA's DIRBS — Oppo midrangers are frequent unofficial imports, and 5G approval varies by unit.
