OhoPrice editorial review
The Vivo V29 at 79,999 PKR is a portrait-and-display phone from 2023. The 6.78-inch 1260x2800 screen resolves to about 453 pixels per inch, the sharpest in this batch, with HDR10+ and a 120Hz refresh, and the 50MP OIS main with a ring LED flash plus an 8MP ultrawide makes it strong for low-light portraits. The front is a 50MP autofocus camera, excellent for selfies and vlogging. The Snapdragon 778G 5G is an efficient, capable midrange chip, 12GB RAM with 256GB storage is generous, and the 4600mAh battery is acceptable though not class-leading. The trade-offs are age (2023) and a depth lens that is filler. This is a polished, camera-focused phone for buyers who want a razor-sharp display and great portraits, and can accept a midrange chip and average battery at the price. The Infinix Hot 60 Pro Plus at 69,999 PKR is 10,000 PKR cheaper and dramatically faster, with a 144Hz AMOLED peaking at 4500 nits, a 6nm Helio G200 that outperforms the V29's Snapdragon 778G, 8GB RAM with 256GB storage, a 5160mAh battery and a thinner 6mm body. The V29 answers with its sharper 453 PPI display, the OIS-stabilised 50MP main against the Infinix's single unstabilised 50MP, a 50MP autofocus front camera versus 13MP, and 12GB RAM. If display sharpness and camera quality justify 10,000 PKR extra, the V29 delivers; if you want raw speed, brightness, battery life and savings, the Hot 60 Pro Plus is the better value. Verify the V29's PTA status on DIRBS before committing 79,999 PKR.
