OhoPrice editorial review
Our Take: The A72 is the balanced all-rounder of this group, and the 64MP main camera with OIS is its anchor — OIS keeps stills and video steady in low light, and the camera array is genuinely versatile: a 64MP OIS main, an 8MP telephoto with 3x optical zoom and OIS, a 12MP ultrawide and a 5MP macro, plus a 32MP front camera that records 4K. The 6.7-inch 1080p display at about 393 PPI is bright (800 nits) and smooth at 90Hz, the Snapdragon 720G handles daily work well, and the 5000mAh battery delivers a reliable full day. The catch is age — this is 2021 hardware with no 5G — and 128GB of storage is good but not exceptional at 82,999 PKR. The Infinix Note 50 is 8,000 PKR cheaper and 2025-new, with an AMOLED panel, a 5200mAh battery and a 50MP OIS main camera that matches the A72's core photography. But the Note 50 stops there: its second camera is a cosmetic 2MP, its 13MP selfie is far behind the A72's 32MP 4K front, and it has no optical telephoto, no ultrawide and no 5G either. The A72's 3x telephoto and ultrawide make it a more complete camera system, and Samsung's update support and resale value add long-term peace of mind. If you want the most complete camera setup and brand reliability, the A72 earns its premium; if price and an AMOLED screen lead, the Note 50 is the value play. Check the A72 IMEI with PTA's DIRBS before buying — older Samsung midrangers are often non-approved imports.
