OhoPrice editorial review

Our Take: The Vivo V50 is a good option for buyers who want a strong camera experience without compromising too much on battery life. Its dual 50MP rear cameras including optical stabilization make it a better choice for steady daytime photos than many budget competitors, and the 50MP front camera is also impressive for selfie fans. The 6000mAh battery is another big plus, and the Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 chipset with 12GB RAM keeps the phone feeling capable for normal everyday use. Compared with the Samsung Galaxy A17, the Vivo V50 is the stronger camera and battery package, while the A17 offers a newer-looking AMOLED screen and a slightly more conservative price. The Vivo is better if you want a long-lasting phone that still performs well for photos and video calls; the A17 is more appealing if screen tech and budget are the top priorities. Check PTA’s DIRBS calculator before buying so you can confirm that this exact Vivo variant is registered locally.
