Our Take: The Galaxy A31's appeal is in what the screen does for you every minute you use the phone: a 6.4-inch Super AMOLED at 1080p resolves to about 411 PPI, which is genuinely sharp — no visible pixels on normal text — and Samsung's AMOLED colour handling makes everything from web pages to photos look richer. The quad camera (48MP main, 8MP ultrawide, 5MP macro, 5MP depth) is well-rounded, the 5000mAh battery is decent, and 128GB of storage with a microSD slot gives room to grow. The weak point is the Helio P65 with just 4GB of RAM — adequate for everyday apps, but 4GB is becoming the minimum that apps assume, so heavy multitasking will churn. The Honor X5c Plus costs 5,000 PKR less and wins on raw performance and endurance: a Helio G81 against the A31's P65, 5260mAh against 5000mAh, and matching 128GB of storage. But the Honor's display is a 720p TFT LCD — around 260 PPI — against the A31's sharply superior 411 PPI AMOLED, and its 0.08MP auxiliary lens cannot match the A31's 8MP ultrawide, 5MP macro and 5MP depth trio. If screen quality, ultrawide photos and Samsung's software matter, the A31 is the better 36,999 PKR; if you want a faster chip and a bigger battery for less, the X5c Plus is the practical value pick. Run the A31 IMEI through PTA's DIRBS — the 2020-era A-series is frequently imported unregistered.
