Our Take: The Samsung Galaxy A35 appeals to buyers who want a dependable Samsung phone with a smooth 120Hz screen and a modern triple-camera layout. Its OIS-equipped main camera is useful for sharper pictures in everyday lighting, and the 256GB storage gives this phone plenty of room for apps, photos and media. This model is not the best value for raw battery size compared with some rivals, but it makes up for that with a more polished experience and Samsung’s software updates. Compared with the Honor X9d, the Galaxy A35 offers better camera stabilization and a more refined software experience, while the Honor stands out for its much larger 8,300mAh battery and larger memory ceiling. If you want a Samsung phone with reliable optics and a cleaner UI, the A35 is the better pick; if runtime and sheer battery power matter more, the Honor is stronger.
