OhoPrice editorial review
Our Take: The Camon 50 Pro is Tecno's answer to buyers who want flagship-feeling hardware without a flagship cheque, and it mostly lands it. The 144Hz AMOLED screen is genuinely premium — smooth scrolling at a crisp ~383 PPI on the 6.78-inch panel — and the 6500mAh battery is a genuine two-day cell for moderate use. The Helio G200 Ultimate is a fast midrange chip, 8GB/256GB is generous, and the 32MP front camera is strong for selfies and video calls. The rear camera listing is thin, just 50MP with no aperture or sensor size published, so pixel count alone should not be trusted — the real test is daylight sharpness and low-light behaviour in a store demo before you commit 99,999 PKR. The Infinix Note 60 Edge 5G is 15,000 PKR cheaper and answers with 5G connectivity, a sharper 429 PPI AMOLED panel, the same 6500mAh battery and matching 8GB/256GB. The Tecno fights back with a 144Hz refresh against the Infinix's 60Hz-class panel, a 32MP selfie against 13MP, and published dimensions against the Infinix's N/A body measurements. Both use 50MP main cameras, and the Infinix's chip is unnamed Octa-Core. If 5G, a sharper screen and saving 15,000 PKR matter, the Note 60 Edge 5G is the smarter buy; if refresh smoothness, selfie quality and a known body size matter more, the Camon 50 Pro earns its premium. Confirm PTA approval on the Camon 50 Pro IMEI — 100K-class Tecno phones are frequent unofficial imports.
