OhoPrice editorial review

The Galaxy A73 is a 2022 upper-midrange phone asking 170,499 PKR in 2026, and that price is hard to justify without serious discounting. The hardware is genuinely competent: a 108MP main camera with OIS is excellent for stills, the 6.7-inch 1080x2400 display at about 393 PPI is sharp, the 120Hz refresh is smooth, and the 5000mAh battery easily lasts a day and a half. The Snapdragon 778G 5G is a proven midrange chip, though by 2026 it is outclassed by far cheaper silicon. The real problem is value — you can buy the rival at 17,000 PKR less with a newer chip, or current midrangers for half this money with comparable daily performance. The A73 makes sense only as a discounted purchase for someone who specifically wants Samsung's One UI polish, OIS stills and dependable battery in one package. The Nothing Phone 3A at 153,499 PKR is the smarter 2026 buy and makes the A73's age obvious. The Nothing ships with a Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 that is faster and more efficient than the A73's 778G, 12GB of RAM against 8GB, a 2025 release date with a long update runway, and a camera setup — 50MP main, 50MP secondary and 8MP ultrawide — that is more flexible if not higher-resolution. The A73 counters with OIS on its 108MP main, which gives steadier low-light stills and smoother video than the Nothing's unstabilised sensors, plus a 32MP selfie camera matching the Nothing's. But battery life is equal at 5000mAh, and the Nothing is both cheaper and fresher. Unless the A73's optical stabilisation is decisive for your photography, the 17,000 PKR saving and newer hardware make the Nothing 3A the better value. A 2022 model at this price needs verified PTA status on DIRBS and an honest look at its software-update end date before you commit.
