Our Take: The Tecno Phantom V Flip is a style-oriented flip phone with a 6.9-inch internal panel and a 64 MP main camera, and it is most interesting if you want a large foldable screen without paying Samsung prices. The 4000 mAh battery is not massive for a premium flip, so expect one-day use rather than anything longer, but the higher-resolution rear shooter does give it a real edge in photography compared to many older models. Compared with the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 3, the Phantom V Flip has a higher-resolution main camera and a larger internal display, while the Samsung still offers a more compact form factor and the reassurance of a more mature foldable platform. Pick the Phantom if camera quality and a bigger screen matter more, and pick the Flip 3 if you want a more compact, polished Samsung flip phone.
