OhoPrice editorial review

The iPhone 17 Pro Max is Apple's top flagship for buyers who want the smoothest iOS experience, long-term software support, and a premium camera system that is tuned more for consistency than raw megapixel counts. The 6.9" LTPO Super Retina XDR OLED at 120Hz is excellent for media and scrolling, and the A19 Pro plus 12GB RAM will make the phone feel fast in apps and games. But the 4832mAh battery is modest for a 6.9" panel, so in Pakistan you should expect a serious day of use rather than two days, especially under heavy gaming or video playback. The triple 48MP rear array and 18MP front are strong, but they are not dramatically better in real-world photos than the rival's 50/50/32MP setup — Apple will likely win on color consistency and video, while Xiaomi may deliver more flexible zoom and slightly better low-light reach thanks to OIS on both main and telephoto lenses. For buyers on a strict budget, the iPhone's price is hard to justify because it costs more than twice the Xiaomi Poco F7 Ultra while delivering a similar class of core performance and camera capability. Its value is strongest for someone who needs Apple's ecosystem, resale value, and software longevity; for most buyers, the raw hardware gap does not explain the 2x price difference. Against the Xiaomi Poco F7 Ultra, the Pro Max trades a much lower price and a larger 5300mAh battery for Apple's ecosystem, software polish, and video/color consistency. The Poco offers stronger raw value with OIS on two lenses and a bigger battery at less than half the price. The iPhone wins on brand ecosystem and long-term support; the Poco wins decisively on price-to-performance. Check PTA's DIRBS calculator for the exact registration and duty amount, and installment plans are typically available for high-end phones through major retailers and banks.
