Our Take: The Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra remains one of the few phones in this batch with true long-range zoom capability, thanks to its 10x optical telephoto lens, and that makes it especially useful for users who need sharper distant shots. The 6.8-inch QHD+ 120Hz display is excellent for reviewing photos and videos, while the 5000 mAh battery should keep heavy shooting and media playback going through the day. The Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 and 12 GB RAM make it a solid performer for demanding apps too. Compared with the Xiaomi Poco F7 Ultra, the S23 Ultra is the more premium photography phone with a superior zoom system and a more refined Samsung camera app. The Poco offers better raw value and a larger battery, but the S23 Ultra is the better option if you want the best zoom, image processing, and flagship Samsung experience in the batch.
