OhoPrice editorial review

The Infinix Zero 40 5G at 62,999 PKR is the strongest spec-per-rupee story in this batch. It pairs a 4nm Dimensity 8200 Ultimate, a genuinely fast chip that handles gaming and multitasking with ease, with a 108MP OIS main camera, a 50MP ultrawide and a 50MP front camera that records 4K video. The 6.78-inch 1080x2436 display at about 393 PPI runs at 144Hz with 1300 nits HBM brightness and an always-on mode, so it is bright and extremely fluid. With 12GB RAM, 256GB storage and a 5000mAh battery, the hardware checklist is complete. The trade-offs are the usual Infinix ones: the 2MP depth sensor is filler, software updates are slower and sparser than Samsung or Xiaomi, and brand perception in the resale market is weaker. For buyers who want maximum camera and performance for the money, this is a compelling pick. The Samsung Galaxy A17 at 67,499 PKR is 4,500 PKR more for a far more modest spec sheet. The A17 offers an AMOLED 90Hz display, a 2025 release with better update prospects, and a reliable 50MP main with a 5MP ultrawide, but against the Zero 40's 108MP OIS main, 50MP ultrawide, 50MP 4K front camera, 144Hz screen and Dimensity 8200, the hardware gap is enormous. The A17's real advantages are the AMOLED panel (the Zero 40's panel type is not stated in the listing), Samsung's service network and longer support. If raw performance, camera and display speed matter most, the Zero 40 5G is the clear winner at a lower price; if AMOLED quality and Samsung's ecosystem sway you, the A17 costs more for less. Verify the Zero 40 5G's PTA approval via DIRBS, and consider that Infinix's resale value and update cadence are weaker than Samsung's.
