Our Take: The Infinix Zero 5G is the better choice for someone who wants a 5G-capable phone with a telephoto camera at this price. Its Dimensity 900 chipset offers a useful boost over cheaper 4G chips, and the 2x optical zoom lens is a standout feature for a budget phone. The 5,000mAh battery is adequate, so this is a strong option for users who want a capable camera and future-proof connectivity without paying flagship money. Compared with the Tecno Spark 40, the Zero 5G is the stronger option for performance, 5G access and camera versatility, while the Spark 40 still has a slightly larger battery and a lower entry price. If you want a more premium feature set and better network support, choose the Zero 5G; if you want a budget-friendly phone with longer battery life, the Spark 40 is worth considering.
