OhoPrice editorial review

Our Take: The Xiaomi Redmi Note 10S at 37,999 PKR offers a refined package that balances camera quality, display sharpness, and processing power. The 6.43-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display at 409 PPI with 1,100 nits peak brightness is the standout feature: colours pop, blacks are truly dark, and outdoor readability is excellent. The Helio G95 processor paired with 8 GB of RAM handles demanding games like PUBG Mobile on medium settings and keeps dozens of apps open in the background without significant lag. The quad-camera system led by a 64 MP main sensor with a large 1/1.97-inch sensor captures detailed, well-exposed photos across various lighting conditions, and the 8 MP ultrawide adds landscape versatility. The 13 MP selfie camera produces above-average results for social media. The 5,000 mAh battery provides reliable all-day life. This phone is one of the most complete packages under 40,000 PKR, ideal for buyers who want AMOLED quality and strong camera performance. The Infinix Smart 20 at 33,999 PKR is 4,000 cheaper but cannot match the Note 10S in any critical area. The Smart 20's G81 Ultimate processor is significantly weaker than the Helio G95, and with only 4 GB of base RAM, multitasking suffers. The Smart 20's 8 MP camera on both front and rear is dramatically inferior to the Note 10S's 64 MP main and 13 MP selfie cameras. Display quality is the most visible difference: the Infinix's 720p LCD panel looks washed out and pixelated compared to the Note 10S's vibrant Full HD+ AMOLED. The Smart 20 does offer a marginally larger 5,200 mAh battery and a bigger 6.78-inch screen, which may appeal to users who prioritise screen real estate over display quality. For buyers who want a genuinely good-looking display and capable cameras, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 10S is worth the extra spend; the Infinix Smart 20 is only for strict budget constraints. PTA Note: Xiaomi Redmi Note series phones are widely available in Pakistan and typically PTA-approved; verify before purchase.
