The Oppo A76 sits in an awkward position in its own brand's lineup. It uses the Snapdragon 680 on a 6 nm process — efficient and thermally stable — but pairs it with a 720p display at roughly 269 PPI, which looks underwhelming on a 6.56-inch screen. The 6 GB RAM is a slight step above the 4 GB baseline, and 128 GB storage provides reasonable headroom. The 13 MP main camera with f/2.2 aperture captures acceptable daylight images, though dynamic range is limited. The 8 MP selfie camera is average. Oppo's ColorOS is polished but carries pre-installed apps that cannot be removed. The 5000 mAh battery delivers dependable all-day endurance. This phone is best suited to buyers who want a reliable, branded daily driver and do not prioritise display quality or camera performance. As an internal comparison, the A76 asks Rs 6,000 more than its sibling the A6C. The A6C's 7000 mAh battery dwarfs the A76's 5000 mAh, making the cheaper phone the better endurance pick. The A76 counters with a faster Snapdragon 680 processor versus the A6C's unspecified chip, more RAM (6 GB vs 4 GB), and double the storage (128 GB vs 64 GB). Display quality is comparable — both are HD+ LCDs, though the A76's 90 Hz refresh rate provides smoother scrolling. Camera specs are similar on paper (13 MP vs 13 MP main). If battery life is paramount, the A6C wins; if you want snappier performance and more storage, the A76 justifies the premium within Oppo's own range. Both Oppo models should be PTA-approved when purchased from authorised retailers, but imported units may require additional registration.
