OhoPrice editorial review
Our Take: The Hot 60i, an August 2025 phone at 50,999 PKR, is an endurance-plus-display package. The 6.7-inch IPS panel runs at 120Hz, making scrolling noticeably smoother than the standard 60Hz rivals, though the 720p resolution is about 262 PPI, so it is fluid rather than sharp. The 50MP camera with an 8MP front is a solid everyday pairing, the Helio G81 Ultimate is a proven budget chip, and the 6GB/128GB memory tier is a comfortable minimum (an 8GB/256GB option exists in the data). The 5160mAh battery is dependable. At 7.7mm it is also pleasantly slim. For a smooth-feeling, camera-competent budget phone, this is a strong pick. The Tecno Spark 40 is 7,000 PKR cheaper and is the fresher rival by a month (September 2025). Both use the same Helio G81 family, offer 6GB RAM and a 50MP main camera with an 8MP front, and carry similar 720p screens at ~260-262 PPI. The Hot 60i wins the display fluidity with its 120Hz refresh against the Spark 40's standard panel, while the Spark 40's 5200mAh battery is marginally larger than the Hot 60i's 5160mAh. The Spark 40 counters with 128GB fixed storage against the Hot 60i's 128/256GB split and a 7,000-PKR lower price. If the 120Hz screen and storage flexibility matter, the Hot 60i justifies its premium; if price leads, the Spark 40 is the value. Run the Hot 60i IMEI through PTA's DIRBS before buying — 120Hz Infinix units are common grey imports.
