OhoPrice editorial review
Our Take: The Y16 is a reminder that not all 40,000 PKR phones are created equal. Its Helio P35 chip is several generations old, 4GB of RAM with just 64GB of storage is cramped by 2026 standards, and the 13MP main camera is modest. The 5000mAh battery and Vivo's dependable software are the genuine positives, and at 6.51 inches it is slightly more compact than most rivals. Realistically, this phone only makes sense if you find it discounted well below list price or if you specifically want a small, simple Vivo with long battery life and are not interested in anything else. Compared with the Infinix Smart 20, the Y16 loses on almost every spec. The Smart 20 is 6,000 PKR cheaper, runs a newer and faster G81 chip, offers up to 128GB of storage with RAM expansion to 8GB, and carries a bigger 5200mAh battery. What the Y16 keeps is a better 13MP main camera against the Smart 20's 8MP and the reassurance of the Vivo brand — though the Smart 20's spec text is corrupted in places, so its numbers need a closer look. For most buyers the Smart 20 delivers more for less; the Y16 is only for Vivo loyalists or anyone who prioritises a more compact footprint. If you still choose the Y16, check the IMEI against PTA's DIRBS before paying — and push for a discount off the list price.
