OhoPrice editorial review
Our Take: Battery endurance is the Y21d's reason to exist: a 6500mAh cell is flagship-class stamina, and it comfortably carries past two days of normal use where most rivals need a nightly charge. The 50MP main camera with a fast f/1.8 aperture is genuinely good for the price, and 8GB of physical RAM plus 128GB of storage is a strong combo for a 39,999 PKR phone. The 90Hz screen with 1000 nits brightness keeps things smooth and readable, though the 720p resolution on a 6.68-inch panel works out to only about 264 PPI. Ignore the 0.08MP secondary camera — in practice this is a single-camera phone, and the 5MP front is its weakest point. Against the Infinix Smart 20, the Y21d wins where it counts most. It costs 6,000 PKR more but delivers a 50MP camera versus the Smart 20's 8MP, 8GB of physical RAM versus the Infinix's 4GB (expanded to 8GB virtually), and a 6500mAh battery versus 5200mAh. The Smart 20's counterpoints are its lower price, a later May 2026 release date, and up to 128GB of storage, and its spec text is garbled in the data (the chipset line reads MediaTek Hello), which is a small red flag about data quality. If endurance and camera quality define your budget phone, the Y21d is worth the extra money; if you must save 6,000 PKR, the Smart 20 is the discount option. Verify the Y21d IMEI against PTA's records — 6500mAh Vivos are a popular grey-market import.
