Our Take: The Infinix Note 50, a March 2025 phone at 74,999 PKR, is a well-balanced all-rounder. Its 6.78-inch AMOLED at ~393 PPI delivers deep blacks and rich colour, the 50MP main camera adds optical image stabilisation — genuinely useful for reducing blur in low light and shaky video — and the Helio G100 Ultimate with 8GB RAM (plus 8GB extended) is a capable midrange chip. The 5200mAh battery is solid, the 256GB storage is generous, and the 13MP front camera is respectable. The 2MP secondary lens is decorative, so treat this as a single-camera rear. For a do-everything midranger at this price, it is a very fair deal. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 15 is 5,000 PKR cheaper and answers with a superior screen — AMOLED at ~394 PPI with 3200 nits peak brightness against the Note 50's AMOLED, making it far more readable outdoors — and a stronger 108MP camera against the Note 50's 50MP OIS. The Redmi also brings a bigger 6000mAh battery with 33W charging and a newer March 2026 launch. The Infinix counters with the OIS stabilisation its camera lacks, matching 8GB RAM and 256GB storage, and the same AMOLED class. If maximum camera detail, brightness and battery matter, the Note 15 is the better value; if OIS and brand preference lead, the Note 50 still holds up. Run the Note 50 IMEI through PTA's DIRBS before paying — Infinix midrangers are frequently sold unregistered.
