OhoPrice editorial review

Our Take: The Villaon Hyper 100 is a March 2026 budget phone whose spec sheet requires careful reading. The 18GB RAM headline is marketing: the fine print reads 6+12 GB extended, meaning only 6GB is physical and 12GB is slower virtual memory. The 6.75-inch 720p display (~260 PPI) is unremarkable, the 13MP camera with a 5MP front is basic but honest, and the 5000mAh battery is dependable. More troubling, the display type, GPU and dimensions are all listed as N/A — so the screen technology and physical size are unverifiable from the data. At 25,999 PKR this is a workable budget phone, but inspect it in person before trusting the numbers. The Samsung Galaxy A05 is 1,000 PKR cheaper and is the safer, better-documented choice. The A05's 50MP camera with a 2MP depth helper decisively beats the Hyper 100's 13MP, its Helio G85 is a known, proven chip against the Villaon's unnamed Octa-Core, and it documents its 720p PLS LCD panel and body dimensions where the Villaon lists N/A. Both offer 128GB storage and a 5000mAh battery with 25W wired charging on the Samsung. The Hyper 100's only edge is the bigger advertised RAM (6GB physical vs the A05's 4GB). For verified specs and a trusted brand, the A05 wins; the Hyper 100 is a gamble on undocumented hardware. If you choose the Hyper 100, check the IMEI in PTA's DIRBS and verify the physical unit — the N/A specs make it impossible to judge the phone from the listing alone.
