OhoPrice editorial review
Our Take: The Realme 8 Pro is 2021 camera hardware that still punches far above its 39,999 PKR asking price. The 108MP main sensor on a 1/1.52-inch base is the largest camera chip you will find near this price — it captures light and detail that 50MP budget sensors cannot, and the 8MP ultrawide with a 16mm lens is a genuinely useful second shooter. The 6.4-inch full-HD display resolves to about 411 PPI with an always-on mode, which is sharp and premium-feeling, and the Snapdragon 720G remains a capable, efficient chip for daily use and light gaming. The compromises are the 4500mAh battery — the smallest in this batch — and the age: it is 2021 hardware with no 5G, and the 2MP macro and depth lenses are filler. The Infinix Smart 20 is 6,000 PKR cheaper, but this is a mismatch on imaging. The 8 Pro's 108MP main camera, 8MP ultrawide and 16MP front camera make the Smart 20's 8MP/8MP pairing look like a toy, and its 411 PPI full-HD display is a different world from the Smart 20's ~256 PPI 720p panel. The Infinix does answer with a larger 5200mAh battery against 4500mAh, a faster Helio G81 on paper (chip data is garbled as MediaTek Hello), and RAM expansion to 8GB, though its base storage is a 64/128GB split versus the Realme's solid 8GB/128GB. If camera quality and screen sharpness rule your buying decision, the 8 Pro is the standout value despite its age; if battery life and a newer chip matter most, the Smart 20 is the conservative pick. Run the 8 Pro IMEI through PTA's DIRBS before paying — the 108MP Realme is a recurring grey-market import.
